I’ve Been Making The Wrong Choices

I have found things quite hard this week and have been making the wrong choices with my diet. Although I still lost 1lb I’m kicking myself over what I’ve done this week.

Stats

Starting weight: 238lbs
Loss this week: 1lbs
Current weight: 221.5lbs

Total loss: 16.5lbs
Target weight: 175lbs
Weight left to lose: 46.5lbs

The Weekend

This weekend didn’t go too well, I though since last week end I had a takeaway and still lost weight it would be fine again to do it this weekend. That is not the right mentality to have I know and it has shown in my weigh in this week.

This Week

My week has been a little better but still not great. I kept swapping water for diet coke or I was just drinking less. I’ve been quite tired this week and I think this may be one of the reasons. I also had a pasty tea while we were out one night this week to save time when we got home.

Although I have kicked myself for doing bad this week, I also happy it has happened. It has given me the kick up the a** that I needed to realise I need to be more diciplined than I have been. Just because I have lost weight in the past after eating junk doesn’t mean I should. At the end of the day its not just about losing weight, its about being healthier and getting fit as well.

My favourate meel this week has been stir fry. Its a great quick meal than can just be thrown straight in the pan with some chicken, we use Quorn chicken pieces because my wife is vegetarian and its easier to cook just one big meal than two seperately.

Next Week

Next week I will be getting back on track and sticking to my plan. I will be getting back to drinking more water and sticking to my meal plan. I have already been eating more bananas and now want add lemon water each day as they have so many health benefits.
