It’s progress picture week and although I’ve not been losing much lately I’ve made some progress so I’m happy it’s still going in the right direction.
Starting weight: 238lbs
Loss this week: 0.5lbs
Current weight: 194.5lbs
Total loss: 43.5lbs
Target weight: 175lbs
Weight left to lose: 19.5lbs
This weekend was a busy one, that seems to be the norm now with no signs of it slowing down for a few months. It’s good as it will keep me active and hopefully help me to lose weight as I’m doing a lot of work on the house at the moment.
My diet did suffer this weekend though. We went to a party for my cousin’s sons 2nd birthday. There was a lot of food and a really nice cake. There was no way you can take a salad to a 2-year-old’s party so I had the food.
Because I’ve been so busy I also missed one day of exercise from my abs and core challenge, it just slipped my mind. It’s a bit annoying as I would have completed it this week if I didn’t.
My weeks are getting just as busy if not busier than my weekends at the moment as well. There have been quite a few stressful days and have missed lunch twice this week just so I could work through and keep up.
This isn’t ideal for my weight loss as missing meals can actually cause your weight loss to slow down. So I don’t want to be doing this again.
Apart from this, I’ve have stuck to plan for the rest of the week and not had any unhealthy snacks. That is what I would have done in the past. I’d have been eating junk food while I work but I’m so glad I’ve changed my relationship with food.
On the exercise side of things, I’ve missed quite a few days of the abs and core challenge during the week too. I’m still going to keep going and get to the end of it as I’m only a few days off. My air bike hasn’t been touched again, I just haven’t got the time at the moment but really wish I did.
It’s progress picture week. Since my last picture, I’ve only lost 2.5 lbs. I can’t see much if any difference, apart from needing a hair cut, but it’s still some progress.
Next week is going to be just as busy as this one, I will try not to miss any meals next week though.
On the weekend I should be able to stick to my diet a lot better as we currently don’t have plans of going out. I’ll just be doing a lot at home.
My plan for next week is just to stick to my diet, finish my abs and core challenge and that is all, I’m not looking to start anything else for a little while now until things settle down a bit.
