Although gaining 2lbs isn’t a cause for celebration, it’s the celebrating that caused my weight gain. It was my sons 3rd birthday this week and I overindulged in cake and pizza.


Starting weight: 238lbs
Loss this week: -2lbs
Current weight: 199lbs

Total loss: 39lbs
Target weight: 175lbs
Weight left to lose: 24lbs

This Weekend

The craziness of last week carried on into the weekend with the building work carried on. My diet went out the window for a few days as well. I assumed because of all the work we’ed been doing it wouldn’t matter, obviously I was wrong and will learn from this.

I’ve noticed since Christmas, maybe even before, my weekends have been far too relaxed, so it’s time to get them back on track and limiting myself to the odd treat instead of most of the weekend off.

This Week


I started off well this week but the birthday celebrations had started early with a cake brought over from the weekend, followed by more cake and pizza on my sons actual birthday. We also had dinner out just to really add to the calories.

Since his birthday I have stuck to plan again, however that has only been for two days, so not enough time to fix all my mistakes.

Started Exercise

I have gotten back into my abs and core challenge though, so it’s not all bad this week. It’s obvious I’ve not done it much since Christmas as I’m struggling almost as much as the first time I did it now.

Next Week

Next week I want to get back on plan. I’m thinking of making my diet even more like Slimming World and follow it properly but not sure yet. I’ll see how next week goes.

I also want to get back on my air bike again, now things are starting to get back to normal and my routine is almost back I can fit this in again.
