This week has been so crazy busy it’s been a struggle to concentrate on my diet and exercise all week. I spend most of my time sitting at a desk but this week I’ve hardly sat day during the day.
Starting weight: 238lbs
Loss this week: 1lbs
Current weight: 197lbs
Total loss: 41lbs
Target weight: 175lbs
Weight left to lose: 22lbs
My crazy week started on the weekend, having to rip out our kitchen ready for the work to start throughout the week. I also kept on plan for most of the weekend apart from the odd treat.
As well as getting a good workout from removing the kitchen I also fitted in my abs and core challenge.
The week started and so did the crazy busy days. I managed to get in about an hours work each morning before we started each day. It’s been so different to a normal week, usually sat at a desk I haven’t had much time to sit and getting in a lot of steps as well and getting long workouts.
Knocking down walls, lifting steels putting up stud walls, general labouring and cleaning. All this has made me really want to eat something extra to help me but I stuck to my diet all week and quite proud of myself.
After the day of working, I would remember to do my abs and core work out, up until Wednesday I completely forgot for the rest of the week. I’m not kicking myself too hard though as I’ve still had a workout, just not the one I planned.
This week when I went to weigh I thought it would go one of two ways, I’d either be really happy and lost a lot of weight or disappointed and barely lost. I am a little disappointed, my weight loss doesn’t show how hard I’ve been working all week but it could be because my body isn’t used to the work I’ve done and is retaining water, hopefully, it will show in next weeks weigh in.
It’s also ‘progress picture week’. I’m actually 1.5lbs heavier in this one than my last thanks to overeating over Christmas, but I can still see improvements and I’m really happy with how far I’ve come.
Next week will be back to some normality, I want to stay strict with my diet and get back to exercising again. I’m starting to miss my air bike and its starting to gather dust.
