This week I’ve been trying to get back to it and get back into my routine which hasn’t been easy. There has been a lot going on this week which has put my routine all out of whack but I’m getting there.
Starting weight: 238lbs
Loss this week: 2lbs
Current weight: 198lbs
Total loss: 40lbs
Target weight: 175lbs
Weight left to lose: 23lbs
We did our usual weekly shop as always, preparing for the week ahead. I wasn’t very good on the diet side this weekend though and finished off the Christmas Chocolates. At least they are all gone now and I don’t have to worry about seeing them all the time.
I also spent the weekend getting ready for the work we’re having done on our house, so I was dismantling some kitchen cupboards to make room for a new window being installed. I had a big clear up of wood and cardboard that needed getting rid of. So at least I can count this as doing some exercise.
Monday morning soon came around and I planned on starting my diet properly again and get back to exercising. It wasn’t long before the diet went out the window again as I was out in the cold for most of the day and a salad just wasn’t going to cut it. However, as the wall was knocked out to make space for the new window I got quite a workout lifting and shifting blocks.
I managed to stay on plan Tuesday and have done so for the rest of the week. This hasn’t been easy with some temptations still around but I’m focused and using as much discipline as I can to stay on the right path. I’m also drinking more water again which I’ve been trying to do for ages.
I planned to start my abs and core challenge Monday but this also didn’t happen because of all the work going on. I did start it again Wednesday and have completed three days now. Now I just need to keep it up.
The last part of my diet and exercise I need to get back into it my air bike. I really enjoy it and it works up a great sweat but with so much going on its hard to fit in.
Next week we have more building work with a big wall coming down and a steel beam going in. This is going to be a huge interruption taking up most of the week and weekends as I’ll be ripping more cupboards and rearranging most of downstairs to make space. I’ll also be helping with the work and removing all the rubble. I’ll definitely get my exercise next week, I just hope my diet will stick too.
Next week is week 28 which means it picture week! I’m currently heavier than my last picture so I doubt there will much improvement from then.
