This year’s Christmas was the craziest and busiest we’ve ever had but it’s also been the best. I’ve been completely off-plan all week, no diet and no exercise.
Starting weight: 238lbs
Loss this week: -3.5lbs
Current weight: 199lbs
Total loss: 39lbs
Target weight: 175lbs
Weight left to lose: 24lbs
The craziness started on the weekend when we had our brand new sofa delivered. It needed to be put together and arrived in 27 boxes. It took me all day to put together but it was worth it. There was a lot of lifting and moving involved (as well as swearing) so that does count as some exercise I guess.
We also decided we wanted to take in a dog that we saw needed rehoming and took him for a walk to meet our dog first.
On Sunday my parents visited for the morning and in the afternoon we had to do the dreaded Christmas food shop. Not that we had enough going on already, all of us came down with horrible colds which made everything so much harder.
I had planned to carry on with my abs and core challenge over Christmas but I only remembered after finishing the sofa that I hadn’t done it and didn’t have the energy to try.
Keeping up the craziness, we spent Monday with friends at a soft play running around with our kids. That also counts as exercise so I haven’t done too badly this week really. We also picked up our dog Christmas eve.
I’ve just been eating when and where I could at this point so planning wasn’t an option. When Christmas day hit we were so busy in the morning, any plan we did have went straight ou the window and we didn’t eat Christmas dinner until 4 o’clock but it was definitely worth the wait.
I even treated myself to a Cider in the evening, This is the first time I’ve had a drink in six months and was a nice treat to finish the day.
So my diet was non-existent and no planned exercise was done. I’m surprised I only put on 3.5lbs after all the food I’ve consumed. I’ve also got a huge haul of treats to get through. This may a few months to eat if I want to stick to my plan. I need to work out how many Syns this is.
Next week I want to get back to some form of normality and get some exercise in. Eat a few salads and some much-needed water. However, it’s also New Year’s Eve next week with plans to see family so It could go badly. Like last week, I’m not making any promises for this coming week but I will be back on track as normal the following week.
