This week people noticed my weight loss a few times. It gives me the boost I need to keep going and get to my goal weight. It’s also progress picture week and although I haven’t lost much from the last picture, I think my workouts have made a big difference.
Starting weight: 238lbs
Loss this week: 2lbs
Current weight: 200.5lbs
Total loss: 37.5lbs
Target weight: 175lbs
Weight left to lose: 25.5lbs
I had a good weekend and managed to stick to my diet for most of it. I’ve needed to get back on track after last week and being more strict with myself this weekend has helped a lot.
We spent the weekend back at my parents and saw some friends that we haven’t seen for what feels like months. It was also my dads birthday so mum had done a special roast dinner with all the trimmings, it was like Christmas. I’m so glad I’m able to carry on having occasional meals like this and not ruin my weight loss.
People noticed how much weight I’d lost, both family and friends commented on how good I was looking. Although I’m doing this for myself and not anyone else, it feels good when they notice.
Just like every week, I’ve been strict thought out the week, but Monday was completely different. My wife and son baked cookies and this time I just couldn’t resist and ate a few. As much as I enjoyed them I thought I’d ruined everything on right from the start of the week. I’m hoping because I don’t use many Syns throughout the week, it just balanced itself out.
I’m really happy with this progress picture, I’ve only lost 2.5 lbs since my last picture four weeks ago but the difference is amazing. Between the two pictures I started an abs and core challenge and completed day 26 this morning. It’s made a big difference to my stomach.
The workouts have been getting progressively harder as they go on and working different muscles. It’s been a great challenge and doesn’t take up much time.
I have four days left of this challenge then I will be taking a break for the rest of the week. I’m planning to do a different challenge the following week and maybe the abs and core challenge again, alongside it.
Our weekend shouldn’t be too busy with just a bit of shopping planned so I will be sticking to my diet again to get back to losing more weight.
