I’m really seeing a difference in my appearance now. Maybe not over the last four weeks as it’s been slow going but from when I first started, the differences are amazing.


Starting weight: 238lbs
Loss this week: 0.5lb
Current weight: 203lbs

Total loss: 35lbs
Target weight: 175lbs
Weight left to lose: 28lbs

This Weekend

Sticking to my diet over the weekend seems to be an ongoing struggle at the moment. I don’t overindulge or snack apart from the one treat of chocolate I allow my self once on a weekend. I just struggle to stick to healthy options all the time as we are usually seeing people and being fed or feeding them. It’s too hard to sit down with a salad seeing what everyone else is eating.

This Week

The week started off with us going to a funeral so my diet wasn’t something I was thinking about on Monday and food was provided. As soon as Tuesday came around I knew I had to be completely strict with myself for the rest of the week if I wanted to lose any weight at all and somehow I managed to. Even if it was only 0.5lbs, I’m still heading in the right direction.

I have found a fitness challenge this week that concentrates on the abs and core. It’s a 30-day challenge full of different exercises. Starting it now is great timing as its straight after a progress picture and hopefully, I should see a difference by the next one in four weeks.

There is no meal of the week this week. Like I said last week it’s getting too hard to find meals I haven’t already posted before. Hopefully, I’ll have some more in the future.

A few weeks ago I had bad food cravings and they’ve started to creep up again this week so I thought I’d take a look into how to deal with them.

This week I have been seeing a difference in my self and not just the hair cut. Walking past a mirror, I can see I just look like a different person, my clothes don’t fit as you can tell by my jeans in the picture and they’ll fall down around my knees if I don’t keep pulling them up.

It’s time to raid my stash of old clothes that don’t fit, I’ve actually got loads of jeans that I’ve never worn because they didn’t fit. I kept them thinking I will fit into them one day and I was right, about 5 years later…

Next Week

Next week I will be starting the 30-day challenge alongside my diet. I can see me being very achy to start with as I haven’t done any workouts for a very long time. I’m actually looking forward to getting back into doing exercise.
