Hi I’m Luke and I have a dadbod!

I am 29 and live with my wife and two young children. After living off takeaways, fast food, ready meals and fizzy drinks I have decided enough is enough. I want to be healthy and in the best shape I can be for my family. This will allow me to keep up with them and enjoy a more adventurous lifestyle.

Having always struggled with my weight since my teens I have tried many different ways to get into shape. I have tried different diets and tracking my calories to intense exercise programs. Some haven’t worked, some have but then it doesn’t last long before I am back to being overweight again. This time I will be posting my results as well as pictures, to keep me motivated and to hold myself accountable.

I’ve started this blog to log my journey getting into shape, posting my weight loss and goals as I go. I also want to help others that are in the same situation, so I’ll be sharing health and fitness tips that help me as I go.
